About the Work

The Universal Technical Institute (UTI) Avondale Campus welding lab expansion enhances the campus’s vocational training capabilities by creating a modern, hands-on learning environment for future skilled trades professionals.

Completed in collaboration with ACCO Engineered Systems, Integrated Masonry, and JENCO, Inc., the project consisted of new welding bays, specialty process gas distribution systems, welding fume extraction, HVAC and electrical infrastructure upgrades, fire protection improvements, and renovations to support spaces and classrooms. Designed to support industry-standard training, the expanded facility provides students with the tools and infrastructure needed to develop real-world welding skills in a safe, efficient, and functional environment.
