About the Work

Technicolor Creative Studios’ newest LA home resides on Washington Boulevard in the heart of the media & entertainment district in Culver City. The Paris-based company expanded due to high demand from streaming services like Netflix and Apple TV+ as well as advertising, gaming, and animated film needs.

RAM Construction successfully completed the tenant improvement for the four-story, 76,000 square foot building. The revamped space includes production rooms, creative collaboration areas, project suites, and color rooms, as well as breakout spaces, reception areas, and extensive kitchens.

Our team played a pivotal role in the project, overseeing the installation of handmade tiles imported from Japan, crafting high-quality custom millwork, laying down hardwood flooring, installing top-notch appliances, and managing a sophisticated light fixture package. Given the media-intensive nature of the space, stringent acoustical separations are essential, and our team ensured this through the implementation of four layers of sound-absorbing drywall, complemented by fabric wall surface treatments.
